Welcome to the Online Gallery of the artwork of Loyd Fannin.
Loyd Fannin is a retired chemist who rediscovered his talent
and passion for art after his retirement began in 1998. Loyd was
born in Oklahoma and raised in Arkansas. He earned a Bachelor of
Science degree from Southern Arkansas State University, and a
Master of Science from the University of Oklahoma.
He retired from Nobel Akzo in 1998 after nearly forty years of
chemistry in the Houston area. Loyd and Shirley have been married
since 1956 and reside in Dickinson, Texas. They have two grown
daughters, Michelle McHenry and Melanie Saubert, and three
grandchildren, Meagan and Myles McHenry, and Shea Saubert.
